Clapham Book Festival is organised by Clapham Writers, a registered charitable organisation. We bring books and writing to Clapham through our annual festival and online Zoom talks, as well as raising income from local sponsors and public donations to present free events at Clapham Library and elsewhere.

Clapham Books is an independent bookshop in Clapham that offers a hand-picked selection of titles, including fiction, children’s and art books. It is based at 24 The Pavement, Clapham Common SW4 0JA and has a sister shop in Herne Hill.
Omnibus Theatre is a multi-award-winning independent theatre in Clapham, South London. The heart of its ambitious programme, inspired by its building’s literary heritage, lies in both classics re-imagined and contemporary storytelling. It provides a platform for new writing and interdisciplinary work, aiming to give voice to the underrepresented and challenge perceptions. It believes in affordable tickets and theatre for all. The Theatre is led by Artistic Director Marie McCarthy and is a registered charity, receiving no core funding. The Windmill pub and hotel stands prettily on Clapham Common – a haven for the hungry, the weary and those with a powerful thirst. It is renowned locally as a congenial pub for meeting up with friends, for fantastic food, and for being super dog-friendly. It also has 42 eclectic, boutique-y bedrooms. The Windmill regularly donates the prize for this year’s Festival raffle.
