Welcome to the Clapham Book Festival web-site.
It is with great regret that the organisers of the 2020 Clapham Book Festival have decided to cancel this year’s event.
The uncertainty around continued public safety from the COVID-19 virus, even if lock down is lifted, means that we cannot be sure that the Festival would be safe and viable. So the decision has been taken to cancel for 2020 and concentrate on planning for an extra-special Festival 2021.
Thank you to regular Festival-goers for your patience and, we hope, your continue support next year. Keep safe.
The 2019 Book Festival took place on Saturday 5th October, 2019. The 2019 Programme can still be found at Programme and photographs from the 2019 event on the relevant Photographs page.
In the meanwhile, on this site you can find
- info about the authors who have taken part in previous years’ Festivals and the books they have written
- info about who is behind the Festival
- info on contact and tickets.
